Megan Featured in Bold Journey July 2024
I’m currently traveling around the Southwestern United States in my self converted campervan. I left Florida (Miami), after having lived there for most of the last 30 years. I was feeling wanderlust for something new, something different. I’ve always had the need to mix things up, for constant change. I’ve been a full-time van life artist for over 2 years now, working out of my tiny home/art studio on wheels creating travel art and my Doodle Gears collection inspired by my love of cycling.
I am currently working on my Doodle Gears collection, featuring gears of all shapes and sizes with a PoP Art spin on it with gears painted as smiley faces, flowers and more. Art that anyone would enjoy, particularly cyclists, watch aficionados and car enthusiasts. All the while moving to a new place every 1-2 weeks to immerse myself in new landscapes and a place to ride my bike.

"Megan, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken."

How This Miami Female Artist is Spreading the Love During Hard Times
Megan Aroon, has always brought a smile to people’s faces, across the world, through her art, and now it seems people are in need of even more brightness in their lives. Duncanson’s art has people saying things like, “this makes me happy,” and “Your art… it’s so uplifting… there is prob a better word… but your art feels warm.” And I think we could all use a little warm, fuzzy feeling.
